The location is great, situated in the town's main square with easy access to some very nice restaurants. It's also not far from the center of Nicolosi, making it perfect for reaching Mount Etna or local restaurants. the rooms are comfortable and clean, as mentioned in the reviews. the hosts are friendly and helpful, providing useful tips and assistance with organizing trips. the breakfast is delicious, offering a wide variety of options like cereals, bread, and fresh orange juice.
There was no mention of scenic views from the rooms or any other specific advantages related to the facilities.

Patrizia the owner is very friendly, helpful, and speaks excellent English, and gave us lots of information about where to go, and provided us with discount vouchers for the cable car excursion up Mount Etna. The room itself was clean, comfortable, very nicely decorated and good value for money, and the breakfast was just lovely. Highly recommended.

We had a very beautiful room with a huge balcony and a superb view. The owner, Patricia, was very helpful and recommended us a great restaurant for the evening. And she asked for our preferances for the breakfast and we had (in addition to traditional Sicilian breakfast) delicious ham and cheese and antipasti ;D. And before we left she gave us a big bag of unbelievably good oranges that we happened to praise the previous evening.

Great location near Mt. Etna and close to small coastal towns. Spacious, clean room with a terrace and a nice view of the sea.- Very substantial and delicious breakfast with a variety of options.
Lack of parking options. Limited availability of the hostess, especially during her absence.

The assistance of Patrizia in finding us a guide to take us Mount Etna Park at noon on a Saturday since the only bus available had already passed in the morning. She saved our day!! The room was great and the kitchen facilities were available 24hrs. Breakfast was good too.

This hotel offers great value for money, with affordable prices for a comfortable stay. The staff pays attention to detail, ensuring that the rooms are clean and well-maintained. I particularly loved the room with air conditioning and a clean shower. The gorgeous balcony views through the trees to Etna were breathtaking, and the cute terrace facing the backyard added a charming touch to the overall atmosphere. Plus, having breakfast included was a bonus.
All was excellent.

Patricia, the woman in charge of La Giara, welcomed us warmly with lots of tips, and a good cup of cappuccino and cookies. La Giara is located perfectly in the city, with just a few minutes walking to restaurants and shops. The place has a good atmosphere, and it´s a good place to stay when you are planning to visit Etna, or want to visit the towns around. Be aware that you get a discount on the cable car at Etna if you stay at La Giara. Our room was really nice, with a balcony with a sea view. Not all of the rooms have their own bathroom. Patricia makes an effort for her guests, and she had baked a very good pistachio cake:) The breakfast is much better than other Italian hotels we stayed on during our trip, different cheese, hams, rolls, croissant, yoghurt ++

We much enjoyed our stay at La Giara. Perfect location to visit the Etna vulcano. The owner, Patricia, was very friendly and recommended a nice restaurant for the surroundings to us. She also helped with finding an excursion to climb the Etna vulcano. Good breakfast and great value for money!

We had a fantastic stay at this B&B. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the breakfast options were varied and delicious. The staff, particularly the owners Patrizia and Liliana, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They organized our holiday for us, which we greatly appreciated. The location of the hotel was convenient, close to the center of the city with shops nearby. We also found the public transportation in this city to be reliable.
No negatives from this place.

Eventhough we came in off season and were the only guests there, staying for only one night, we had all the comfort and a luxurious buffet breakfast to enjoy, all to ourselves. Patricia, the landlord, gave us some excellent tips on Sicily and especially on how to do the Etna hiking trip on our own on a budget. She even rewarded us with some cupons with discount on the cable car to Mt Etna. Would love to be back some day and further explore the dramatic region.
There's nothing to complain about. At all.

Had a wonderful Easter stay in Sicily. Located in a charming neighborhood, it was easy to get to the main attractions. the rooms were decorated nicely and clean. Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh produce and delicious pastries.
Parking was an issue as there was no dedicated parking area. the noise level was a bit high with some early morning departures.

Our first night in Sicily was spent in the La Giara B&B. Small friendly family atmosphere. The owner Patrizia is fluent in English. You are invited to use her comp. or the WiFi. La Giara is situated in a semi rural suburbian neighborhood, comfortably accessible for your Etna Mountain adventure. Next morning, after an excellent breakfast and before leaving for the Etna, Patrizia acted as a pro travel agent, advised us what to see in Sicily and called up various B&B all over the island to make our bookings. Before leaving we got good bye hugs Italian style. Not automatically included in the menu...
Cannot say anything negative. To save time, in Sicily you better prepare your detailed Google Map, and have an alert navigator beside the driver seat.

The stay in La Giara was awesome. Patricia and her husband is a great team: she took care that we would feel comfortable in the house as more as possible and he took care about all possible information we need to have while visiting mount Etna. We have stayed in four places during holidays in Sicily and this one was the best !
